Why my scar turn darker after my surgery?

There are a few reasons why a scar might turn dark, That's also called PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) and it happens because of 2 main factors that usually involve the sun. For example, if a scar was exposed to sunlight during the healing process (normally within a year of the injury) there’s a good chance that the scar tissue will become pigmented.

That happens because, during the healing process, your body will provide all the proteins and cells needed to repair the damage and protect you, within those proteins and cells we can have an oxidation reaction when some hemoglobin cells chemically react with sunlight and certain proteins, so during the period that the color of the scar is still pink or red is very important to avoid sun and take good care of the area reducing the chance of hyperpigmentation.

Another important factor also involving the sun, is the response of your body to generate more melanin when exposed to it, this melanin in reaction to the healing process proteins can also oxidate and become slightly darker than was supposed to be.

Dark scars can also be caused by inflammation, but also by poor healing, or the genetics of your skin and how your skin heals. Dark scars are more likely to appear on those with medium and dark complexions because of a more intense reaction of the melanocytes, but those with fair skin may also experience dark scars.
